Legendary Hip Hop artists will be performing their entire albums at the 2010 Rock The Bells Tour. KRS-One, Slick Rick, Rakim, and the Wu-Tang Clan will be performing classic albums from the late 80’s and early 90’s in their entirety, with the Wu headlining the event. The tour is only making 4 stops this year, with two shows in Cali, one in Maryland, and one in NY. With this lineup, why didn’t they flood New York with bookings? Albums like The Adventures of Slick Rick, Paid In Full, Loc-ed Ater Dark, As Nasty As They Wanna Be, and Straight Outta Compton were in my Walkman nonstop during this time. I would be satisfied with just the opportunity to see Slick Rick and Wu-Tang, but BDP and Rakim’s appearances make it an unbelievable Hip Hop lineup. Many were expecting Lauryn Hill to be a part of the tour, but things didn’t work out. Others affiliated with the show this year are the Clipse, Murs and 9th Wonder, Yelawolf, Supernatural, and Brother Ali.
