Separated couple David Arquette and Courteney Cox hit the red carpet together last night for the premiere of "Scream 4" -- where they smiled and hugged it out for the cameras.
It's no surprise the couple -- who met filming the first movie -- looked happy together, as the two have been nothing but complimentary of each other lately in the press. David told Ryan Seacrest just yesterday that he still considers Cox his "best friend."
Also hitting the red carpet: The film's stars Neve Campbell, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Alison Brie, Shenae Grimes, Lucy Hale, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Nico Tortorella, director Wes Craven and from the original flick, Matthew Lillard and Jamie Kennedy.
The celebs also packed the movie's after-party, where director Eli Roth and rocker Marilyn Manson hammed it up in the photo booth -- and other celeb sightings included Bell's boyfriend Dax Shepard, Courteney's "Cougar Town" co-stars Busy Phillips and Josh Hopkins, Nathan Fillion and Jack McBrayer.
