T.I.: “Prison Ain’t For Gangsters, Prison Is For Losers.”
On Monday November 29, BET will air their next installment to their Food For Thought series. And their 1st artist is none other then T.I, Clifford Harris. Check out an excerpt below.
“To be candid with you, I learned, man, prison ain’t for gangsters, prison is for losers,” he told Smith. “Gangsters find ways to avoid prison. Gansters find ways to exit the game and legitimize their businesses and learn how to turn their strengths into enterprises. If you look around in a prison, at least myself, I saw thieves, I saw burglars, I saw crackheads, I saw, you know, the same people that I would walk around on the street, and you would never associate with these people out of respect for yourself,” he continued. “Ok, so if you’re on the street and you’re looking at these people and you are above their standards, how do you and them end up in the same place, one bed next to each other? I got to be better than that.”
T.I.’s Food For Thought airs Monday November 29 at 10:30pm on BET

Interview Mag; Rihanna by Kanye West
Here's a small portion of the sit down between Mr West and recently red hair rocking Rihanna.
“I don’t really plan on the age. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right. I mean, I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids. Whenever the time is right, I’ll just know. If I had a girl, she’d probably be really rebellious,” she laughs. “She would be like a bundle of karma.”After the Jump peep a few of the Mag pix........
Lloyd Banks Answers: “Is Gangsta Rap Dead?”
”I don’t think gangsta rap could ever be done or finished. When you ask yourself ‘what’s gangsta’? To me being gangsta is being responsible for your actions. Being a stand-up dude or girl, and don’t compromise for anything. Somebody who don’t bend, someone who does what they want to do.

Quincy Jones: “Don’t compare me to Kanye”
Not much love for Ye' from Quincy Jones.
Us: Kanye West is similar to you in that he’s the producer everybody wants to work with in the last decade….
Quincy Jones: “How man? No way. Did he write for a symphony orchestra? Does he write for a jazz orchestra? Come on, man. He’s just a rapper. There’s no comparison. I’m not putting him down or making a judgement or anything, but we come from two different sides of the planet. I spent 28 years learning my first skill. I don’t rap. It’s not the same thing. A producer has to have some sort of skills that enable him to be a producer. It’s totally different to know what to do with 16 woodwinds you know from piccolos down to bass clarinet. It’s a whole different mindset. No comparison. None. “
